Update my to Forgive My Fins post

Posted by Rebs @ Book-Rants at Wednesday, September 02, 2009

I was over at Bam Book Reviews and saw that the cover art and a more detailed synopsis is out for Forgive My Fins by Tera Lynn Childs so I thought I'd post an update. Also there is already a sequel in the works to Forgive My Fins.

Lily Sanderson has a secret, and it’s not that she has a huge crush on gorgeous swimming god Brody Bennett, who makes her heart beat flipper-fast. Unrequited love is hard enough when you’re a normal teenage girl, but when you’re half human, half mermaid like Lily, there’s no such thing as a simple crush.

Lily’s mermaid identity is a secret that can’t get out, since she’s not just any mermaid – she’s a Thalassinian princess. When Lily found out three years ago that her mother was actually a human, she finally realized why she didn’t feel quite at home in Thalassinia, and she’s been living on land and going to Seaview high school ever since, hoping to find where she truly belongs. Sure, land has its problems – like her obnoxious, biker boy neighbor Quince Fletcher – but it has that one major perk – Brody. The problem is, mermaids aren’t really the casual dating type – when they “bond,” it’s for life.

When Lily’s attempt to win Brody’s love leads to a tsunami-sized case of mistaken identity, she is in for a tidal wave of relationship drama, and she finds out, quick as a tailfin flick, that happily-ever-after never sails quite as smoothly as you planned.

Also I saw I couple of new covers on blogs I follow, I think it was Confessions of a Wondering Heart and The Hiding Spot, sorry if I got this wrong my memory is that of a gold fish. So I thought I would post those as well.

I'm not sure how the pictures I posted look, I can't see them when I'm at work, they have this filter thing that blocks them at our office so hopefully they turned out and there isn't like a million of them in here.

I can't wait for this!
Awesome cover too!

Ooo what's Jekel Loves Hyde about?

guess I should have put that in my post

Jill Jekel and Tristen Hyde are two high school students who gradually discover that they share a mysterious, possibly dangerous, connection to the old novel, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. As they race against the clock to figure out the puzzle, they start to fall for each other – which is probably the worst thing that could happen to them…

by the same author as Jessica's Guide to Dating on The Darkside, which is a cute vampire read.

LOL, I'm afraid I love my hush hush ARC too dearly to part with it... but there are contests for it! check out the tainted poet's site; she has an awesome blog (and she's hosting a hush hush giveaway). It's in my sidebar if you care to look :)

JEKYLL AND MR. HYDE! I saw the cover and drooled over it... but I didn't know what the heck it was about until now! so thanks!
